# \[ARFC\] Aave V3 Caps update Framework

following the [snapshot vote](https://snapshot.org/#/aave.eth/proposal/0x037a5ef4ac471dfc07054c01f909b9a71d7bf5ffdfe9b959121bf60d600427b4) the Caps update framework is now considered part of Aave governance guidelines and “direct-to-AIP” process can be mobilized if the proposal fits the conditions defined in the framework.

@Kene_Anode would u consider adding this framework to your [gov process](https://governance.aave.com/t/aave-finance-governance-process-v0/11402) thread for visibility?
