# \[ARFC\] Increase MaticX supply cap

Utilizing our [LSD supply cap methodology](https://governance.aave.com/t/chaos-labs-lsd-methodology-update/12829), and given the [Community Preference for Supply Cap Limits for LSTs](https://snapshot.org/#/aave.eth/proposal/0xf9261916c696ce2d793af41b7fe556896ed1ff7a8330b7d0489d5567ebefe3ba), we support the proposed increase to the MaticX supply cap.

### Asset Overview

The current Supply Cap for MaticX on Polygon V3 is 50.6M WMATIC.

### Recommendation:

Current total circulating supply is ~83M, in a previous vote the Aave DAO has agreed to a supply cap of 75% of total circulating supply:

Following the above community vote, we support the new proposed supply cap of 62M for MaticX (83M \* 0.75 = 62.25M).
