# \[ARFC\] Launch GHO on Base & set ACI as Emissions Manager for rewards

# Overview

In accordance with our recently recommended adjustment for Stablecoin IRs, we recommend new initial listing parameters for GHO on Aave’s Base instance.

# Motivation

Following the recent drop in market-wide interest rates and borrow demand, this recommendation aims to align the proposed initial parameters of GHO on the Base instance with those we previously recommended for similar stablecoins in [this post](https://governance.aave.com/t/arfc-chaos-labs-risk-stewards-decrease-slope1-parameter-for-stablecoins-on-aave-v3-01-29-25/20841).  
As such, we recommend reducing both Slope 1 and Slope 2 of GHO to 9.5% and 50% respectively.
