# Summary
This publication presents the January Funding Update, which includes securing a small top-up in GHO to support the runway on a rolling basis.
# Motivation
This publication documents the swapping of USDS and DAI holdings held on the Ethereum Treasury into GHO. The GHO is to be deposited into the Prime instance, where it will support future operational needs.
# Specification
Using the [MainnetSwapSteward](https://governance.aave.com/t/arfc-steward-deployment-mainnetswapsteward-and-rewardssteward/23070) and the already-approved Allowances, consolidate the following holdings into GHO and deposit them into the Prime instance.
