# ETA on Switch and Repay With Collateral

Is there any ETA on this feature?

It’s one of the most attractive instruments that Aave offers. Without it, I can’t:

-Short positions  
-Long positions  
-Manage my positions in a SAFU way

There is no ETA. You can follow this thread to get updates [Periphery Contracts Incident August 28 2024](https://governance.aave.com/t/periphery-contracts-incident-august-28-2024/18821).

But there are several other options from third party apps you can use like Defisaver or basically every other DEX for swaps.
