# Replace the stkGhoMigrator contract ## Simple Summary Aave Labs has developed a new version of the `stkGhoMigrator` contract that makes migrations more resilient. We propose to replace the current contract with the new version. ## Motivation This change is part of our ongoing commitment to the security of the Aave Protocol and its ecosystem. The new implementation is an enhancement of the `stkGhoMigrator` contract: it does not impact users, user funds, or the underlying contracts the migrator interacts with. The new version introduces no changes to the contract interface or function signatures. ## Specification The replacement consists of the following actions: - Revoke the permissions currently granted to the existing `stkGhoMigrator` contract. - Grant the same permissions to the new `stkGhoMigrator` contract. - Pause the existing `stkGhoMigrator` contract. Once the replacement is executed, user interfaces and tools should route migrations through the new contract.
