Will it have functioning fraud proofs at launch ?
Thank you Fig and Flipside for this proposal! We are excited that the Aave community is considering Base.
Base will be running the identical codebase as Optimism at launch, so fault proofs will not be available. That said, we are working with OP Labs to harden the security guarantees of Bedrock and accelerate the timeline for decentralized fault proofs on the OP Stack.
