Hi. Thank you for this additional proposal. To be honest, it reassures me because I have difficulty understanding the interest for the protocol in rewarding AAVE holders and stakers if they don’t protect the protocol in return. In other words, why would the protocol spend millions of benefits to remunerate the shareholders of a limited supply token?
In the traditional market, it might make sense to have a highly valued token because, during a capital increase, the higher the price of the token, the fewer you need to create to reach the financial goal. But in the case of the AAVE token, there won’t be any new tokens created, which makes the situation different and raises questions about the relevance of these rewards. With this additional proposal, AAVE holders are once again rewarded for taking real risks (other than simply having bought AAVE).
