Thank you for putting forward the proposal. Previous upgrades were needed, i.e. 3.1. related security upgrades, 3.2 liquid eModes and 3.3 to support the Umbrella integration into the Aave Protocol. However, given that existing protocol is stable and previous security upgrades have been done, and given how much value at stake each upgrade of the protocol touches (30-35B) and the fact that V4 is around the corner (future evolution of Aave), I don’t recommend to proceed with this current upgrade given they don’t materially change main usage of the protocol, thus the risk reward is not there. If there is need to upgrade some of these features that are useful and more trivial such as multi-call, could be implemented. However, I do think these development resources should be rather used on other, more high value / low risk initiatives instead, given how much value is currently at stake and concerns each upgrade creates to the users and stakeholders.
