Hardcoding to USDT price is certainly safer for this large pool than using a market price feed. The looping activity has certainly outgrown liquidity for sUSDe. Perhaps it shouldn’t have gone to this limit in the first place?
If we look to the past at other lending markets hardcoding collateral prices, it never ends well. You should never assume that the price of an asset will be correlated to another unless it is redeemable fully for that asset. I know everyone on this forum knows this…
