The circulating supply of BTC.b on AVAX is 9,616. Aave currently has 5,800K ($129.6M) on the protocol. Given this concentration, Gauntlet does not recommend increasing BTC.b’s supply cap, as we also mention here.
We want to notify the community of a large whale position near liquidation on Aave v2 ETH. This user has a health factor of 1.01 with an outstanding borrow position of $14.3M in WBTC. We notified the community of this account last month via this forum post. We are continuing to monitor, but we wanted to share this information about the client:
Gauntlet will continue to monitor the market. The cap utilization was recently near full utilization but dropped below the 75% threshold. We continue to recommend no increase in SUSHI’s borrow cap as posted in the forum on March 3rd.
The cap utilization was recently at full utilization but the supply cap was increased to 15M on March 15th. Gauntlet will continue to monitor the market and make further recommendations.
Gauntlet wants to notify the community that asset wstETH supply cap usage is at 75.62%. Our team is looking into it and will let you know if any next steps.
We would like to inform you that the utilization rates for WAVAX’s supply cap and borrow cap on Avalanche Aave v3 are currently at 78% and 100%, respectively. The assets caps were recently adjusted downward. Our team is looking into it and will let you know if any next steps.
As a follow-up from this notification: we do not recommend increasing the supply cap at this time in light of the Shanghai upgrade. However, given liquidity considerations (namely circulating supply and DEX concentration), we will revisit immediately post-upgrade on April 12th.
