Introducing AaveAPY: An Yield Dashboard and Simulator

Hi fellow Aave community members,

I am sharing with you an open-source analytics dashboard and simulator that I have been building: AaveAPY.

Live Dashboard: aaveapy.com
Code Source: github.com/0xPabloLI/aaveapy

Key Features

AaveAPY operates as an analytics layer on top of Aave V3.

1. Omni-Chain Yield Comparison

Instead of switching networks, AaveAPY displays a consolidated table showing Native APY + Incentive APY (including points calculator). You can instantly spot the best yield opportunities, filter by asset type, and identify markets with the strongest Supply APY − Borrow APY spread for looping strategies.

2. “What-If” Simulation with On-Chain Protocol Math

Enter a hypothetical supply or borrow amount to simulate the exact impact on your rates. The calculator uses Aave’s native on-chain math (two-slope curve) to show:

  • Supply/borrow APR/APY at the new utilization rate
  • Distance from the optimal utilization (kink) point
  • Remaining borrow cap room and pool liquidity constraints

3. Real Yield After Incentive Caps & Dilution

AaveAPY simulates your actual APY after accounting for incentive caps and dilution, for example:

  • Celo Self-Authentication: Factors in the $1,000 cap per user
  • Merkl/Brevis Forecasts: Estimates the next-run daily rewards and APR for hypothetical deposit amounts based on different campaign type and finite reward pools
  • INK FDV Calculator: Estimate Ink incentive APR based on different Fully Diluted Valuation assumptions

Roadmap

  • Aave V4 protocol support with unified V3/V4 frontend display
  • Complex simulation scenarios across different supply/borrow combinations
  • Smart deployment recommendation with multi-chain yield optimization and cross-chain bridge integration
  • Wallet connection with portfolio import and incentive blacklist/whitelist detection

I built this tool for my own needs, but I hope it brings value to the broader Aave community. Any of your feedback is appreciated.

Enjoy!

AaveAPY v1.0 Update

Hey everyone — it’s been a while since the first post. AaveAPY now covers all markets across V3 and V4, with portfolio simulation and incentive modeling. Try it at aaveapy.com.

AaveAPY simulates how every Reward rule actually behaves at your position size — Merkl position caps, Brevis finite-pool dilution, Merkl net-position scoring — so the APY in the table is the one that lands in your wallet, not the headline. Plug in your capital, pick a chain, and side-by-side compare supply rate, capped incentives, borrow rate, spread, and net APY across every Aave V3 + V4 pool on 21 chains, in one view. Enough context to build — or backtest — your deposit or Loop strategy before you commit capital.

Aave V4 Support

V4 markets sit alongside V3 in the same table. On Ethereum, there are 11 V4 Spoke pools — Main, Lido, EtherFi, Ethena, and more. Use the Hub filter for an aggregated view, or drill into a specific Spoke.

Portfolio Simulation

Connect your wallet, or paste any address into “View Address” — no wallet connection needed, read-only. Import your positions and simulate changes, or enter hypothetical amounts from scratch. Supply and borrow in one table; native rates, incentives, and net APY update as you type.

Incentive Intelligence

Most dashboards show headline APY. But if you hit Merkl’s position cap, your real yield could be a fraction of what’s advertised. This section models what you’d actually earn.

  • Position Cap Awareness — Per-user caps (e.g. Merkl’s position limits) are applied automatically.

  • Forecast Engine — For Merkl and Brevis finite pools, we estimate next-run APR from current TVL and remaining budget.

  • Dilution & Eligibility — Cross the cap and you’ll see diluted vs headline. Merkl net-position scoring works too.

Click any incentive APY to see the per-campaign breakdown — reward token, APR, cap status, all in one tooltip.

Any feedback is welcome, open an issue on the AaveApy repo or reply below. If something looks wrong with your numbers, that’s the most useful signal for me to improve.
