After a year and a half since AAVE was deployed on the BSC network, it has not managed to stand out on the network. AAVE currently has $60M in TVL, while the largest protocol has $1.6B. What are the reasons why it has not been able to capture more TVL? I think it’s important to understand why this is happening to avoid it in future deployments on other networks.

not that it matters much but as a slight correction, is less than a year actually Aave Governance - Proposal 6
That said, what was a big driver of aave on other networks for the last year were LSTs and eventually no LST was ever listed on BNB.
I assume that might change with: [ARFC] Onboard wstETH to Aave V3 on BNB Chain - #9 by ACI and potentially others (iirc there are 1-2 BNB LSTs being proposed). Still for aave it always seems rather hard to penetrate a network with active aave forks as they usually slap some questionable tokenomics on top to boost liquidity till they explode - on BNB there are at least two non-friendly aave forks active.
You are right… my bad.
Thanks for the clarification.
