Definitely makes sense to add support in Aave for lending and borrowing MATIC. This supports a leading ETH scaling solution and attracts more CEX liquidity to Aave and DeFi broadly.

Now that Polygon (MATIC) is one of the top 20 crypto assets by market cap, and also because AAVE’s Polygon Market has been wildly successful, I believe that there is no reason not to have this asset be added to AAVE v2. What are the next steps?
