[TEMP CHECK] Aave Will Win Framework

The result of your actions is right in front of us: AAVE is currently struggling at $107 and failing to hold support. If you genuinely believe that Aave V4 is going to save you from this mess, you are deeply mistaken. Please do everyone a favor and change the title of your proposal to: “Winning by Hollowing It Out”.

This is not contributing to the discussion. Market prices have severely corrected since December and a lot of collateral got liquidated. You are free to sell your aave and move on but please keep this constructive.

If a community fork happens and the DAO pulls the trigger, believe me, I will be its very first investor. You can keep your hollowed-out token and your fake illusion of decentralization all to yourselves. Capital always follows talent and real builders, not monopolists. We will all see exactly where the TVL goes.

And let the two attached images serve as a reality check for you: the only ones pushing Aave Labs’ propaganda are bought-and-paid-for X accounts.

I’ve held over 3,000 AAVE since 2023, for more than three years. Why would I need to register on this forum to participate in meaningless discussions? If it weren’t for recent events, I wouldn’t have replied to any posts at all. I’m from China, and there’s nothing wrong with having AI translate my text into language you can understand.

Hi everyone, stepping in to follow up on this thread.

While the deployment of Aave V4 is obviously a major technical milestone for the protocol, we need to have a serious pragmatic conversation about sequencing and priorities.

Before we accelerate the V4 Mainnet activation, it is critical that we bridge the structural alignment gap that still exists within the DAO. The Aave Will Win Framework passed its Temp Check 15 days ago. This framework was supposed to serve as our bedrock—finally providing clarity on token alignment, off-chain assets, IP, and a coherent revenue model.

Pushing a massive technical upgrade while these existential economic and governance questions remain unresolved sends mixed, bearish signals to the broader market. We cannot afford to build a new floor when the foundation itself is still being debated.

I fully recognize that resolving complex IP and structural DAO matters requires careful negotiation and time. However, given the months of uncertainty we’ve already endured, we should be finalizing this, not putting it on the back burner while V4 takes all the bandwidth.

Can @AaveLabs provide a clear roadmap and a commitment to deliver the comprehensive AIP for the Aave Will Win Framework before V4 goes live?

Technology needs aligned incentives to actually capture value. Let’s get our structural foundation in order first so that V4 can be the success it’s meant to be for the protocol and its token holders.

Totally disagree. V4 is ready and our competitors are moving quickly. We’ve already wasted far too much time and energy on debate and appeasement. It’s time to do DeFi again.

I don’t agree.

Honestly I believe this “alignment gap” that you talk about it does not exist, let’s face reality.

Now that we have a clear direction and leadership, we need to move fast.

And here it comes :joy:

As expected, AAVE Labs avoided addressing the elephant in the room, there’s still no update on their “AAVE Will Win” proposal. Yet despite that silence, they continue to push forward with the V4 activation proposal

If this is an annual framework, what specific KPIs or performance benchmarks will the DAO use to evaluate AaveLabs’ funding renewal? Without measurable accountability metrics defined upfront, the DAO risks approving a recurring budget without a clear success framework.
