Title: Recovery Request – 49.2 USDT Accidentally Sent to Aave Ethereum USDT Contract

Hello Aave Community and Support Team,

Following the advice I received from Aave Labs Support, I am posting this request for consideration in a future Asset Rescue Mission.

On October 18, 2026, I accidentally withdrew 49.2 USDT from Bybit using the Ethereum (ERC-20) network to the Aave Ethereum USDT token contract address instead of my intended Phantom wallet address.

Transaction details:

  • Asset: USDT
  • Amount: 49.2 USDT
  • Network: Ethereum (ERC-20)
  • Date: October 18, 2026
  • Destination address: 0x23878914efe38d27c4d67ab83ed1b93a74d4086a
  • Intended Phantom wallet: 0xe88b91cd4f8b5a9c6e93efd590f56218561d3b62
  • Transaction hash: 0x123d2a094c00fac573d123a48fb64a19a417abb4845dff9ae138254c318789bd

The withdrawal was confirmed on the blockchain, but the funds did not arrive in my intended Phantom wallet.

I contacted Aave Labs Support, and your team advised me to post here for consideration in a future rescue mission.

I understand that recovery depends on technical feasibility and community approval. I would be grateful if the team could review my transaction and advise whether these funds could be eligible for recovery in a future rescue mission.

I can provide screenshots of the Bybit withdrawal and the blockchain transaction as evidence.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Kind regards

Hello Aave Community,

I am following up on my recovery request originally submitted on October 19 regarding the 49.2 USDT accidentally sent to the Aave USDT contract on the Ethereum network.

It has now been two weeks since I submitted my request, and I would sincerely appreciate any updates or guidance from the community.

I have been in contact with Aave Labs Support via email, and their team confirmed that my transaction had already been verified in their earlier correspondence.

I completely understand that this process requires time and community consideration. However, I would be grateful if my case could remain under consideration for any future rescue mission or recovery opportunity.

Please let me know if there is any additional information or documentation I need to provide.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from the community.

Kind regards.
