I’m a bit sad to write this because having briefly met the NEON engineers I can only talk highly of them.
Unfortunately NEON is a Castle built on a sandbank and i’m more than pessimistic about the evolution of Solana L1.
Deploying on a new network costs 3 valuable ressources in the following ascending order : Money, time & focus.
in this proposal, the future prospects of the underlying L1 make deploying on a L2 a too costly investment.
That is why the Aave-chan Initiative casted a NAY vote to the snapshot.
