About Us

Curia is a professional delegate team that is committed to provide a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing DAO governance and active delegate participation. Our team consists of DAO governance researchers, data analysts, blockchain engineers, and developers working together to support and strengthen the DAO ecosystem.

Drawing its name from the ancient Roman building where the Senate convened, Curia embodies a central hub for governance services and expertise. Much like its namesake, we offer a space where informed decisions are made and effective strategies are put into action.

Our core mission is empowering DAOs to make informed decisions and effectively achieve their goals. We firmly believe that blockchain technology holds the key to shaping the future of financial and governance systems. As such, it’s crucial to ensure that the people leading the development of these systems reflect the diverse global community they aim to serve.

Why us?

Our team is made up of experts in DAO governance research, data analysis, blockchain engineering, and development. We’ve been active in the web3 space since 2017 and have contributed to various DAOs and tech companies. In addition, we have access to resources from a leading venture builder in Southeast Asia, which will be instrumental in our efforts to support and guide the development of Aave.

We’ve taken on the role of delegates for Aave because we believe it plays a crucial role in the DeFi ecosystem. Our commitment to effective governance participation and strategic stewardship will help bolster Aave’s growth and sustainability over the long term. Our top priority is to work closely with the Aave community to develop practical plans and initiatives that will enhance the user experience and create value for all stakeholders.

Disclosure

As a governance and DAO research team, we work with several other projects and DAOs such as SafeDAO, Optimism Collective, and ArbitrumDAO to enhance their governance and decision-making processes. We are committed to maintaining transparency and avoiding conflicts of interest in our work with the Aave community. When required, we will disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of our engagement.

Waiver of Liability

By delegating to Curia, you acknowledge and agree that Curia will participate in AAVE governance on a best-effort basis and will not be liable for any form of damages related to participation in the AAVE protocol.

DELEGATE INITIATIVE

Main Goals

As part of our delegate initiative for Butter’s incentivized delegate campaign, Curia will focus on enhancing the Aave GHO launch, promoting its growth in L2s ecosystems, and ensuring active voting participation. Our strengths lie in our deep understanding of stablecoin mechanisms and our extensive experience and networks in the DeFi ecosystem.

Focus:

  1. Aave GHO Stability
  2. GHO Token Growth in L2s Ecosystems
  3. Voting Participation

Area 1: Aave GHO Token Stability

Curia will collaborate with the Aave community to provide valuable context and feedback on the mechanisms that surround the GHO stablecoin. We will analyze the stability and risk factors associated with GHO, and continuously monitor and contribute to maintaining the GHO ecosystem to ensure its long-term success.

KPIs:

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of GHO’s collateral onboarding and risk management strategies.
  • Actively participate in the ongoing discussion and monitoring of GHO’s parameters and its stability.

Area 2: Aave GHO Token Growth in L2s Ecosystems

Curia will work to facilitate the growth of Aave’s GHO token in L2s ecosystems. By leveraging our connections and expertise in these areas, we aim to expand GHO’s presence and utility across multiple L2s and platforms.

KPIs:

  • Facilitate GHO token integration with at least 3 L2/multi-chain projects within the specified period
  • Monitor and create a report on GHO token adoption and growth within these ecosystems after 3 months of its initial launch

Area 3: Voting Participation

As delegates, Curia is committed to making the most of the voting power allocated to us. We plan on voting on all on-chain proposals and participating in most temp-checks, ensuring that our voice contributes to the governance of the Aave ecosystem.

KPIs:

  • Actively contribute to discussions and decision-making processes within the Aave community.
  • Achieve at least 90% voting participation in all on-chain proposals during our term
  • Participate in at least 75% of temp-checks during our term
