The Avalanche v2 market is obsolete. Users should be encouraged to interact with the Aave v3 market.

Llama voted to support extending the Safety Module to cover the Aave Arc Market. The v2 contracts are battle tested and the Arc market can not be easily upgraded to v3 so will remain v2 for the foreseeable future. Extending the Safety Module to the Arc Market will encourage adoption by giving institutions further confidence to interact with the protocol.

Llama supports reducing the Liquidation Threshold by 3% to boost the capital efficiency of the market. Ie: The delta between the LT and LTV is reduced. This may lead to more liquidations during volatile periods in the market but that is for Users to manage and Aave has demonstrated an efficient liquidation mechanism.

Adding Securitize to the Aave Arc Market whitelist is expected to help grow the amount of Users who can interact with the market. Noting: @bgdlabs has verified the proposal, here. Llama and 3SE helped source the proposal power and submitted this AIP for voting.

Llama is supportive of the asset listing and is working with Stader in preparing the AIP for the Aave community to vote on. Llama believes productive tokens like staked asset receipt tokens such as stMATIC and MaticX are great types of collateral. The recursive strategy should be a meaningful source of TVL and source of borrowing demand for wMATIC which in turn will attract more wMATIC deposits. Llama is working with Stader to bring this proposal to an on-chain vote shortly.

The FEI Reserve is to be frozen and Tribe DAO is removing support for FEI. It is therefore in the best interest of Aave DOA to minimise exposure to aFEI and FEI within the Reserve Factor. Llama is working to bring this proposal to an on-chain vote shortly.

After recent events at Tribe DAO it is prudent for the Aave community to begin reducing exposure to the FEI Reserve. Liquidity for FEI will only deteriorate in time. Llama is working to bring this proposal to an on-chain vote shortly.

Happy merge! With the merge being a resounding success and markets have returned to more normal levels. Llama is a supporter of enabling ETH borrowing. There are a number of leverage strategies built on Aave that borrow ETH and enabling borrowing will enable these strategies to rebalance and offer a better User Experience to holders.

Llama is supportive of adding MaticX to the Aave v3 Polygon Pool and welcomes more productive assets to the Pool. It is great to offer a variety of staked MATIC receipt tokens as collateral on Aave v3 Polygon Pool.

This proposal is like the earlier Curve Finance proposal, Aave should be encouraging communities to build on Aave Pools. Helping communities to retrieve stkAAVE rewards further encourages partners to work with Aave. Llama is for this proposal and is working with Balancer to bring this proposal to an on-chain vote shortly.

[Snapshot] Aave v3 Ethereum. Approval of path forward
Vote: Deploy a new Aave v3 Ethereum
Llama is supportive of making a new v3 deployment on Ethereum. As noted in the governance discussion, the complexity and added risk of a migration along with other benefits like being able to review assets listed and support GHO liquidity makes a new deployment more beneficial for Aave.

[AIP] Adjust Aave Governance Level 2 requirements
Vote: YAE
Llama voted for making adjustments to the level 2 governance requirements. Relaxing these requirements will make it easier to pass proposals related to the safety module, the AAVE token and Aave governance. The recommendations from bgdlabs are a good balance between enabling future progress for the protocol while prioritizing security.

Hi Everyone
Although this thread has not been active for a while, we would like to highlight the address Llama uses to submit governance proposals to Aave has fallen beneath the 80k proposal power threshold.
If anyone in the community would like to help enable Llama to continually submit AIP proposals please do delegate proposal power only to the following address:
Proposal Power Delegation Address: 0x55B16934C3661E1990939bC57322554d9B09f262
The proposal power was mostly sourced from Index Coop’s DPI product (60k) and with Index Coop transferring the voting rights to a new internal wallet, the engineering team at Index Coop has advised due to way the DPI sett has been created, proposal power and voting power can not be separated.
At this point in time, Llama has around 23k in proposal power which is sourced from Balancer DAO and from Llama with AAVE earned from the service provider streaming contract.
If anyone wants to delegate voting rights to Llama, please use the following address:
