Hi everyone, I’m Manoj Kumar Desai, a governance researcher from India focused on multi-chain DeFi, DAO governance, and protocol risk. I actively study how incentives, token design, and governance structures shape long-term protocol health, especially in emerging markets.

I run M-Connect Studios, a digital-native brand at the intersection of Web3, governance research, and content. I’ve been deeply involved in DAO forums, proposal analysis, and delegation models across multiple ecosystems.

3. Decision-Making Principles (Touch AI-proof mindset)

My “Touch AI-proof” mindset:

  • Human-first reasoning: I don’t blindly follow tooling summaries; I use them as inputs and then apply my own logic and experience.

  • Evidence over narrative: I look for on-chain data, previous proposals, and comparable cases before forming an opinion.

  • Clear reasoning: For relevant votes, I will share short, structured rationales so delegators can see the thought process, not just the outcome.

  • Conservative on irreversible risk, open-minded on experimentation that is well-contained and well-parameterised.

  • No copy–paste voting.

  • No automatic “yes to everything”.

  • Explicit “I don’t know yet” when more time or data is needed.

If I hold meaningful delegated voting power, I commit to:

  • Actively participating in major ARFCs/AIPs that touch on risk, tokenomics, new deployments, and incentive programs.

  • Posting vote rationales on critical proposals (especially where there is meaningful contention or long-term impact).

  • Being reachable for delegators who want to understand my positions or challenge my thinking.

While I may be a newer face in Aave governance, my broader experience includes:

  • Researching DAO governance models, delegation frameworks, and incentive designs across multiple chains.

  • Analysing proposals, writing governance notes, and following how large DeFi protocols manage upgrades, risk, and delegate incentives.

  • Actively monitoring sentiment, user behaviour, and ecosystem trends in emerging markets.

As a delegate, my edge is high-context observation: I track narratives, behaviours, and ecosystem incentives beyond just the proposal text.

I strongly align with Aave’s focus on battle-tested security and high-quality governance. Aave’s governance and risk processes, together with external security assessments and audits, set a high bar for how DeFi protocols should operate.

I aim to mirror that standard on the governance side: clear reasoning, transparent records, and an explicit bias toward safety over unchecked growth. Where helpful, I will reference external research, security reviews, or quality reports used in the broader DeFi ecosystem to back up my positions.
