Aave Dashboard on Dune: Governance Metrics & Insights
Our team at PYOR just created a comprehensive governance dashboard on Dune to support the AAVE ecosystem, you can find it here.
What’s Included
Our dashboard provides real-time tracking of crucial governance metrics:
- Proposal analytics (historical trends, approval rates, participation)
- Voting patterns and engagement
- Delegate information and influence
- Governance participation metrics
Here are some key visualizations from our dashboard:
Proposals by Category: This chart breaks down AAVE proposals by category, showing that Governance-related proposals (green) represent the largest segment, followed by Risk (orange) and Other categories. This helps the community understand where governance attention is being focused.
AAVE v3 Voting Machine Summary: The left chart shows the success rate of proposals, with the vast majority (orange) successfully passing. The right chart tracks participation percentage over time throughout 2024, revealing fluctuations in governance engagement, with notably higher participation during mid-2024.
Delegated Percentage by Proposal ID: This visualization tracks the percentage of voting power delegated across different proposals (by ID). The trend shows varying delegation patterns, with some proposals attracting significantly higher delegation percentages (40%+) while recent proposals show generally lower delegation rates, potentially indicating changes in governance participation strategies.
Why We Built This
As active participants in DeFi governance, we wanted to contribute something valuable to the AAVE community. Transparent, accessible data visualization strengthens decentralized governance by making information more accessible to all stakeholders.
